ARTIST LED WORKSHOP: FOLDING ORIGAMI UNITS

On the occasion of Generation, artists Aiko Cuneo and Lilli Lanier will lead an origami workshop inspired by the origami and paper construction work presented in the exhibition. 

Using colorful origami paper, participants will learn how to make two modular origami units-  lotus square and modular interlocking units. Participants will have an opportunity to create a lotus notecard to take home and contribute to our shared Ruth’s Table collaborative lotus quilt.

This workshop is taking place during Generation: The Roots of Making in the Asawa-Lanier Family exhibition.

Visitor Guidelines: Face masks are required for staff and visitors at all times in the gallery. Participants may choose to take their project to our adjacent outdoor patio where masks may be removed. Learn more about our safety measures.
