It has been 55 years since DJ Lamont was given a “Close N’ Play” record player by his mom at 5 years of age. Flash, DJ Lamont has been playing with records and listening to music ever since.
Founder of Fingersnaps Media Arts, a DJ Studio, DJ Lamont teaches the art of DJ skills in the Heart & Soul of the Mission District San Francisco. You can find DJ Lamont Tuesdays at 8:00pm on community radio KPOO 89.5 San Francisco hosting the Fingersnaps Salon...Music & Conversion spinning Disco, NuJazz, Soul, Electronica, and Deep & Afro House music from his life long vinyl, CD, and Digital Fingersnaps Library.
