OPENING RECEPTION | AGENTS OF CHANGE: MARGARET FABRIZIO AND KAWANDIS

Thursday, September 15 | 6-8pm PT

Ruth's Table is thrilled to invite you to join us for our opening night celebration of Agents of Change: Margaret Fabrizio and Kawandis.

About the Exhibition

Agents of Change exhibition is a celebration of selected works from Margaret Fabrizio, an internationally acclaimed mixed-media quilt and fiber artist. The exhibition focuses on a collection of work created over the last decade that is inspired by the Kawandi style of quilting, a technique developed by the Siddis culture that Fabrizio learned from during her travels in India. Using methods and materials characteristic of Kawandi quilts, each work is a unique interpretation that captures Fabrizio’s explorations of color, pattern, and cross-cultural influences.

The event is free and all are welcome. RT has a beautiful and accessible outdoor space with seating and music. Wine, beer and light snacks will be served.
