Join Ruth’s Table for a conversation with curator Fran Osborne and artists Shana Harper (NIAD Art Center), Antoine Hunter, Katherine Sherwood, Rachel Ungerer from our current exhibition The Art of Disability Culture.
In this dynamic conversation we will explore the exhibition and learn how artists with disabilities dispel myths, dissolve barriers, and disrupt prejudice, with gain an insight on practices that help promote accessibility and inclusion in arts and culture sector and in our communities.
About the Exhibition: The exhibition is an invitation to engage with the work of artists with disabilities and aims to expand our understanding of the disability community. Explore the exhibition online.
Access: The program features American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and captioning. The will be verbal descriptions for all images shared during the program.
During the program, participants are invited to submit their questions and share their thoughts via Zoom chat or by sending an SMS message to (415) 335-9865. RT staff will communicate all the messages to the rest of the group during the Q&A portion of the program.
