COMMUNITY DAY WORKSHOP: STRUCTURE OF SUPPORT

Saturday | May 7, 2022 | 1pm-3pm PST
Onsite | All are Welcome

Inspired by the current exhibition, The Art of Disability Culture, visitors will be guided to reflect on areas of their own self that might benefit from strength, support and adaptation. Visitors will use paper as a metaphor for that which is fragile, as they help to create a ‘structure of support’-adding on to a collaborative sculpture in the gallery and mirroring the process of exhibition artist Jeremy Burleson.

The workshop starts at 1pm with an introduction from the teaching artist and a brief walkthrough of the exhibition. RSVP here. Walk-ins are welcome.

This workshop is taking place during The Art of Disability Culture: Community Day Celebration.
