SLOW LOOKING | AGENTS OF CHANGE: MARGARET FABRIZIO & KAWANDIS

Thursday, November 3 | 1-2pm PT
Online

Wonderful things happen when we slow down and engage deeply with works of art. Join us in an interactive session as we look closely at selected artworks from our exhibition Agents of Change: Margaret Fabrizio & Kawandis. The session will explore what we notice, wonder, and discover when we take the time to look closely and carefully.

Bring your curiosity as we practice engaging with two artworks and share our observations, perspectives, and questions, through a guided interactive program led by educator & teaching artist Suzanne Reich.

No prior experience of the curator's or artists' talks required.

About the Exhibition: Agents of Change exhibition is a celebration of selected works from Margaret Fabrizio, an internationally acclaimed mixed-media quilt and fiber artist. The exhibition focuses on a collection of work created over the last decade that is inspired by the Kawandi style of quilting, a technique developed by the Siddis culture that Fabrizio learned from during her travels in India.

Note: Slow Looking program takes place on the first Thursday of each month.

Registration: Free | RSVP is Essential
