SLOW LOOKING: HOMAGE TO THE WHEEL OF COLOR
Thursday, June 2 | 1-2pm PT
Online
Wonderful things happen when we slow down and engage deeply with works of art. Join us in an interactive session as we look closely at selected artworks from our exhibition Homage to the Wheel of Color. The session will explore what we notice, wonder, and discover when we take the time to look closely and carefully.
Bring your curiosity as we practice engaging with two artworks and share our observations, perspectives, and questions, through a guided interactive program led by educator & teaching artist Suzanne Reich.
No prior experience of the curator's or artists' talks required.
About the Exhibition: Drawing on the theories of color interaction, the exhibition examines color’s relationship with shape, material, and light, and explores the importance of color to guide the viewer’s experience.
Facilitator: Suzanne Reich
Note: Slow Looking program takes place on the first Thursday of each month.
Registration: Free | RSVP is Essential
