SLOW LOOKING: KEEP AN EYE ON THE BOWL

Thursday, November 4 | 1-2pm PT
First Thursday of each month

Wonderful things happen when we slow down and engage deeply with works of art. Join us in an interactive session as we look closely at two artworks from our exhibition Keep an Eye on the Bowl. The session will explore what we notice, wonder, and discover when we take the time to look closely and carefully.

Bring your curiosity as we practice engaging with two artworks and share our observations, perspectives, and questions, as we examine two works by fiber artist Joan Schulze. In this session, we will spend about 30 minutes with each artwork in a conversation guided by facilitator Suzanne Reich, considering Schulze's Auspicious Bowls (2017) and Recovering Wonder (2021)

No prior experience of the curator's or artists' talks required.

Facilitator: Suzanne Reich

Note: Slow Looking program takes place on the first Thursday of each month.

Registration: Free | RSVP is Essential
