SLOW LOOKING: A WORLD FREE OF PLASTIC

Thursday, July 7 | 1-2pm PT
Online

Wonderful things happen when we slow down and engage deeply with works of art. Join us in an interactive session as we look closely at selected artworks from our exhibition A World Free of Plastic Imagined. The session will explore what we notice, wonder, and discover when we take the time to look closely and carefully.

Bring your curiosity as we practice engaging with two artworks and share our observations, perspectives, and questions, through a guided interactive program led by educator & teaching artist Suzanne Reich.

No prior experience of the curator's or artists' talks required.

About the Exhibition: A World Free of Plastic Imagined exhibition brings together the work of twelve Bay Area artists to call attention to the issues of plastic consumption and pollution and offer a provocative look at the environmental impact we each have.

Note: Slow Looking program takes place on the first Thursday of each month.

Registration: Free | RSVP is Essential
