In January, in honor of our namesake artist Ruth Asawa's birthday month, we're dedicating our Slow Looking program to taking a closer look at Asawa's public artwork. The program will explore a selection of Ruth Asawa’s public artwork in the Bay Area, with an emphasis on that which connects to Ruth's Table and highlights the history of our organization.
Educator Suzanne Reich will lead a guided discussion as well as introduce participants to a recently launched virtual audio tour section of Ruth Asawa's website.
Bring your curiosity as we practice engaging with the artworks and share our observations, perspectives, and questions, through a guided interactive program.
Facilitator: Suzanne Reich
Note: Slow Looking program usually takes place on the first Thursday of each month.
Registration: Free | RSVP is Essential
