VIRTUAL TOUR: HOMAGE TO THE WHEEL OF COLOR

Join curator Hanna Regev to explore the exhibition Homage to the Wheel of Color.
In this exhibition, fourteen Bay Area artists celebrate the enduring legacy of the Bauhaus art movement by delving into experimentation with color theories, examining color’s relationship with shape, material, light, and sound.
From intricate chromatic paintings that tangle the illusion of two-dimensional space to light sculptures that use color as an encoding, manipulating large data sets to create eye-popping optical effects, the exhibition showcases a spectrum of effort to use color as a tool to play with perception and illusion.
For this event, Regev will provide an overview of the exhibition and then take questions from the audience.
