HANDMADE ENVELOPE
Wednesdays | May 19 | 1-2pm PT
All ages and skill levels
Participants will make a variety of handmade envelopes out of ordinary paper and repurposed materials. Some envelopes can be mailed out with your letters and other structures are great to go along with your handmade cards and presents.
Supply List:
- scissors, ruler, bone folder (if available)
- adhesive - glue stick or double sided tape
- paper that can be folded easily (such as regular printer paper, calendar pages, magazine pages, thick wrapping paper, discarded book pages, scrapbook paper, maps)
- please prepare at least five 8 1/2 X 11 pieces of paper and three pieces of square paper cut from 8x8 to 12x12
Instructor’s Note: There will be many samples shown during the hour. You may want to use your envelopes made in class for samples and then choose your paper later to make the final envelopes. Have these first envelopes be a guide for the structure as you may want to make some large and small envelopes after class.
