VIRTUAL DROP-IN: SEWN & EMBOSSED DRAWINGS
Thursday | February 3 | 2-3pm PT
All ages and skill levels
In this class, participants will be shown how to “draw” on paper using a push pin and needle and thread as tools. Techniques will be demonstrated as a springboard for the design process, including embossing, sewing on paper, creating illustrations and writing words using a pin. Participants can choose to make note cards, a piece of art, or candle wraps that let the light shine through their perforated designs.
Supplies:
Cardstock or watercolor paper
Practice paper and pencil
Tape
A pushpin
Sewing needle and thread
Cardboard to put under your design while perforating
