VIRTUAL DROP-IN: CREATING FORM WITH COLOR

Push your understanding of creating form with color value. In this one-hour workshop, participants will interpret a still-life composition through cut-paper collage. Participants will use different values or degrees of light and dark in colored papers to translate a still-life image in collage.
Supply List:
- support for the collage (cardboard)
- colored papers of varying types (textures add interest!)
- scissors
- glue stick
Instructor’s Note: No prior experience is necessary. However, participants will benefit from attending Learning How to Model Form in Art workshop that explores the importance of value in creating dimension in an artwork.
